Santa Barbara County Fair - Wine Competition

The 119th annual Santa Barbara County Fair will be held at Santa Maria Fair Park July 14-18, 2010. Wines from several wineries throughout Santa Barbara County will be judged June 10, 2010 and the winning wineries will be asked to serve wine at the Santa Barbara County Fair. Vineyards in the Santa Barbara area cover roughly 21,000 acres, growing many different grapes. This allows the wineries to produce a variey of different wines including, but not limited to Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Merlot, and Pinot Noir.
